"I switched to State Farm because they quoted me a lower rate than GEICO. Huge mistake. They don’t honor their own quotes and overbilled me three times. First month: double billed. Added a car: nearly $100 more than the signed quote. After moving: quoted $420, billed $509. Every time, they said nothing until I reached out. And when you’re overbilled, they don’t refund you—they just “credit it” toward the next payment. No receipts, no explanations, just excuses. State Farm simply does not honor their prices. They change them mid-term whenever they want. The 5-star reviews are mostly from people bribed with a signup discount. Please don’t trust them, I actually had this service for over a year, and every minute was a nightmare. Save yourself the headache go with GEICO or Progressive."
